About Zebra

Zebra. An innovative and high value product made of 100% Belgian Blue Stone. This noble material is now available in a new and contemporary striped design, ideal for a wide range of applications. You already know that blue stone is a timeless material that is set off magnificently within many architectural styles. With Zebra we have added an original dimension to this. The controlled lines of Zebra offer a genuine enrichment, particularly to contemporary architecture.

Zebra is composed of selected strips of blue stone that are firmly bonded together to create slabs of 2 by 3 metres, with a calibrated thickness of 2 or 3 centimetres. The rigorous selection of the strips means that there are very few open carbon layers – in fact less than in an ‘ordinary’ block of blue stone. Zebra is therefore a guarantee of consistent quality within a highly reliable composition.

The possibilities for using Zebra are just as great as for all the other forms of blue stone. For indoor use think of floors, walls, stairs, kitchen and bathroom surfaces, but also shop interiors, entrance halls… For outdoor use there are terraces, gables, ramps and steps… and anything else that a creative mind can imagine.
As Zebra is a new product the tests for obtaining the ATG certificate for outdoor use have not yet been fully completed.

The material from which Zebra is made, Belgian Blue Stone, has a low ecological footprint. After all it does not need to be brought in from another continent but is mined and processed by its own people. The large dimensions (2 x 3 m) yield greater cutting efficiency. What is more: Zebra itself is composed of beautiful strips that may otherwise have been lost. This is an exemplary case of an association between the aesthetic and the ecological.
